This EP features some of the best “unknown” female vocals that have landed in my stereo in quite some time. Robin Avery hasn’t gotten the proper “big ups” that she most certainly deserves with a voice that will turn heads in even the most spacious of settings. Building on the great vocals is a set of dynamic smooth R&B and adult contemporary tunes that are beat-heavy, soulful, and undeniably funky. If you could imagine Sarah McLachlan singing jazzy-laden adult pop songs than you could picture Robin Avery.
