Today, Sunday, November 9, 2008, Robin Avery accompanied by pianist Paul Banman performed at the AMIT Geula-Shalvah Chapter‘s Mother-in Israel Campaign Luncheon.
AMIT, AMIT educates and cares for Israel’s youth, including the most vulnerable children in Israel. Some 70 percent of AMIT students cope with educational, psychological, economic and/or social risk factors.
The duo performed jazz standards, Israeli classics and original songs from Robin’s forthcoming release, ROSE to an appreciative audience that enthusiastically applauded for more music at the end of the show. Robin obliged with a tender version of The Shadow of Your Smile.
